      Poweramp v3 Project Update   03/22/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code. It's not quite ready for open testing yet, and although he would like to be able to get it out by the end of the March it may just drop over into April. See forum thread for more details and to discuss.

You can import/export play lists in Poweramp menu: Settings > Folders and library > import/export playlists.

Thanks.

Or do what I do and create them outside of Poweramp as simple M3U playlist files (which are plain text lists of folder/filenames) which Poweramp will import whenever it finds them in a one of your music folders.

Guys,

try my app "Playlist Manager" on Google Play. It maintains playlists for android but has a special "export to m3u" feature. Several options are available too such as relative or absolute path, unix or windows format.

If you want to preserve your playlists, simply copy them to your PC.  Apart from this, it has some other nice features and makes the creation of playlists a sinecure.
