      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code. It is hoped this will be ready for final beta-testing by the end of the May. See forum thread for more details and to discuss.

Poweramp v3 and up-coming purchase

2 posts in this topic

Currently I'm using alpha-build-703-play as beta tester from Google Play.

On my Sony Z5 dual the Hi-Res Output is what I was looking for ( near close to the V4A but for non-rooted phones )

Since I would like to use this alpha version or the up-coming (updated)  V3 for the Hi-Res option, can I download the player from the website but purchase it from Google Play?

The idea is that I would like to purchase the V3, and not the actual V2 from Play Store, but use the Store for payment if it is possible.

I'm asking this because in the future I will probably change my phone and all the software needs to be re-installed.

Thank you in advance,

Marian

If you purchase from Play, you can use either the Play Store downloads (which can auto-update) or the website file-download versions (needs updating manually as new releases come out).

If you purchase here from the website, you need to user the website file-download version (the Play Store version will work as a trial, but it will not recognise that it is licensed).

The same license will work for v2 and v3.
