Wasteofx
There should be a simple, or at least a difficult, way to shut it down! Used to have to restart the phone, now even that doesnt work. Task killers dont work either. The program randomly starts itself now! May just uninstall it. What a pain!
andrewilley
Poweramp can auto-start based on certain actions (such as inserting the headphones, media button presses, bluetooth connections, etc). However it won't start on its own unless some action triggers it. You can adjust the options in Settings > Headset/Bluetooth to prevent this from happening though. If you are still having problems, try Settings > Misc > Tweaks and untick "Keep Service" which will unload the service which checks for such activity when Poweramp is not running.
