      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code. It is hoped this will be ready for final beta-testing by the end of the May. See forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. Speech Recognition

As far as I'm concerned, it's the only feature that's missing. I've often wondered what my Poweramp would sound like if she could talk.
  2. Support Galaxy S4 features

Dear Developers, I have been using your app for a long time, but since I got my S4 I was wondering if Poweramp would support it's air gestures to change songs and maybe the voice control ("Previous", "Next", "Play", "Pause", "Volume up", "Volume down") too. It would be also cool if there would be an option to display now playing details on it's quick glance screen. I would be really thankful if you would make them work.
  3. I launch google voice search and say "listen to disturbed". Poweramp launches and the search screen opens with albums/tracks listed by the artist Disturbed. Then it sits there waiting for me to press something. Problem is, I'm on a bike and my phone is in a pack inaccessible at the time. I'd like to be able to "listen to disturbed" and have it just play all of their songs randomly without any user interaction needed on the phone. Is there a setting I can tweak to make this happen? "listen to playlist name" would also be great.
  4. Voice command to play song

Does anyone know how to get Poweramp to automatically start playing a song through voice command? Right now, when I hold the "search" button on my phone, and use the "Listen to" command, it'll open up Poweramp with the song selected but i still have to "click" on it to start playback. I tried setting the winamp app as the default for the "listen to" command and with winamp, the song starts playing back automatically. This is the preferable behavior. Any ideas how to replicate this on Poweramp?
