      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code. It is hoped this will be ready for final beta-testing by the end of the May. See forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. Tracks jumbled order

I have a couple of folder in which the tracks appear correctly ordered in Windows Explorer, XYExplorer and Solid Explorer on Android. Yet in Power amp their order is jumbled. I've tried many things to stop it. The tracks have no tags. Shuffle is off. (
  2. Greetings, I bought the app in the past year. now I changed the phone and installed the application on my device, but I can not find the mail in which was the order ID. I tried to contact the developers but no one is answering. what should I do now?
  3. Poweramp version - 2.0.10-build-571-play Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) Android version 4.4.2 After correcting the dates of a few songs and albums on my PC via MediaMonkey, the albums still appear out of order when ordered by year in Artist --> Artist Albums. The years have been correctly updated (verified through app and on PC) but are still sorted in their previous order. Example: I had correctly labelled album A as 1967 and album B as 1968, but incorrectly labelled album C as 1969. Before fixing on PC appeared in order A, B, C Updated album C tracks to correct date of 1965 via PC, but when still appear in order ABC when memory card reinserted and Poweramp started back up again rather than CAB.
  4. So I'm thinking of buying Poweramp but there's one thing that is really bugging me. I often listen to wholes albums back to back, but when I try to listen to all songs by an artist, it can't get the songs in order. Even if I list all the songs by album, it will play the songs from the albums in a random order. What it needs is sorting by multiple options, so it could group by album then track number. Is there a way to do this? I really hate not being able to listen to the albums in order when I want to listen to all songs by an artist,
  5. Re-order Library List

I only recently discovered I can exclude / include list items in my library screen. So when I press Library I am given a choice of Artists, Albums, Genres, etc... And I've gone and pressed menu, then gone into List Options. It would be very cool if we could also re-order these items. That's my suggestion.
  6. It would be great to allow play songs of a certain genre or album in order of score, you start playing the best qualified to least qualified and ultimately they were not qualified.Even another option that plays the best qualified down and then those who are unskilled in the random play
  7. Shuffle Better

I like a lot this music player. Definitely it's one of the best music players I could find in Playstore. But, I would definitely love to see a Smart Shuffle Playlist function. Used to play my music in an iOS app called Shuffle Better. It led me to shuffle all my music library, in a sort of On the go playlist, in random order. Then, I could add the song I wanted to play after the one I was listening. I could also lock the songs in the playlist by swiping my finger to the right (AND to the left it deleted the tracks I didn't want to listen) so I could RE-shuffle the playlist again but maintaning the songs I still wanted to hear. I'm new with Android, and hope that some player (maybe, I hope this one) includes this option. I hope you consider my suggestions and help me to solve my issue. Thanks and sorry from my bad english. I'm from Lima, Peru.
  8. Hi there, I really like Poweramp but this is a thing that I am missing: Poweramp ignores prefixes like "A" or "The" in sorting the library. I think that is absolutely fine but it doesn't work in diferent languages. I have a few german bands in my library and prefixes like "Der", "Die" or "Das" (meaning "The") appear under D. That is a bit confusing. I think it might be a good idea to include some more common articles/prefixes by default and give the user the ability to customize a list of prefixes that should be ignored while sorting. EDIT: sorry clicked the submit button by exident. I hope I am not the only one who would like to see this feature in a future release. Thanks for your time.
