      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code. It is hoped this will be ready for final beta-testing by the end of the May. See forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. Is there an issue on Nougat or on Oxygen OS 4.0.3? Because most of the times I will plug in my headset into my OP3T's 3.5mm jack, the handset will recognize the headset but Poweramp will not resume my queue/playlist. Also, Poweramp will not pause playback when I unplug/disconnect my headset. Is there an issue with the Headset Micro Service on which Poweramp relies for this? Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing this issue as well? Any workaround to this, does Max know about this?
  2. Pixel Phones

OK, so: anyone had success getting Poweramp to work on a Pixel Phone? I've managed to get everything transferred to it, and it MOSTLY works, but my playlist M3U files are showing as having zero songs listed in them. I've tried rewriting them with different file paths (never needed to before but figured it was worth a shot), and still nothing. I've also spoken to some incredibly unhelpful "support" people at Google, who claim that M3Us won't work on a Pixel phone, at all ... and when I ask if that's actually Pixel or ANY phone on Nougat get an answer that usually sounds like they are saying Pixel. Anyone? Ideas? HELLLLP!
  3. I would like to request Android 7.1 Quick-cuts support for Poweramp for quick access to a playlist,pause/resume playing song and anything that is found important by the developer.
