      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code. It is hoped this will be ready for final beta-testing by the end of the May. See forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. I’ve changed some png files on a Poweramp skin and tried loads of time to compile it using tools like apktool.jar, but they all show errors and my android device shows a “parsing error” when trying to run the theme apk file. I did all the changings on PC and only changed png files (I didn’t renamed any file). Can someone help me? All the tutorials on the web doesn’t work for me.
  2. Compiling widgets

Hi, I downloaded the widget pack and tried to compile the provided example just like the skins with ant dist. But i ended up getting an error about classname="com.android.ant.SetupTask" not being found, so I opened up build.xml and switched the code out and replaced it with: <taskdef resource="anttasks.properties" classpathref="android.antlibs" /> It seemed to start working until it says this: stylesheetPoweramp Skin/Widgets/version.xsl doesn't exist. I tried looking around for version.xsl in the widget pack for it but didn't find it anywhere. Anyways I aw wondering if I am just doing it completely wrong or what I should be actually doing to be able to compile the widget example. The normal skin example compiled pretty easily, seen as nothing was actually missing. Anyways hope someone knows what to do. Thanks.
