  1. Hi newbie here. Just using Poweramp in the last couple days. Want to ask. I play FLAC with 24bit/96kHz on Samsung Galaxy A54 + DAC Conexant 31993 attached. So on Poweramp there are two type output for USB DAC. OpenSL ES output and Hi-Res output. Btw. I use IEM KZ ZST Pro (I forgot the IEM driver specs) When I use openSL ES output it play with OS default on 16bit/48kHz. So i tried the Hi-Res option and enabled the 32bit/384hKz option but why the volume so low and required me to maxed up the volume? The volume was normal on default OS 16bit/48kHz. It is OS limitation or it just the way it works? (the low volume on Hi-Res) OpenSL ES output : 16bit/48kHz Resampler : SW/SoX (tried both) DVC on Dolby : On/Off (tried both) Hi-Res output : 32bit/384kHz Resampler : SW/SoX (tried both) DVC on Dolby : Off Output : Samsung UHQA PCM (i don't understand this) Thanks for the help.
  2. Builds 941-943 Device: Núbia Red Magic 6r and Xiaomi Mi9 (Android 11 and Android 10) Problems connecting the USB C DAC, the original Nubia DAC stopped recognizing 24/192 supported on both devices after update (as shown below) Hi-Res and AAudio are the same. Samsung's original USB C DAC is muted when activating Experimental Hi-Res on Xiaomi Mi9 and on both devices (RedMagic 6r and Mi9) the DAC does not recognize 32/384khz nor 24/192khz it stays on 24/48 and 16/48 which gives a low volume effect and low sharpness (I had other devices including Pixel 3XL, Mi9T Pro, Xiaomi MiA3 and they were also giving a bug when recognizing the 32/384 or 24/192 of the DAC of the Samsung after an app update) Is there any way to solve these problems of recognizing the maximum capacity of the USB C DAC?
  3. Hi everyone! I am currently using a Shanling UA2 DAC with Poweramp, and I was asking if Poweramp team could think of a setting that automatically sets the sampling rates depending on the audio file that is played... It is a bit overkill oversampling to 384 kHz when your next music is 44 kHz and the previous one 384 kHz... The oversampling of "low" files lowers the quality... That could be great if the settings could change automatically, without having to modify oneself. Also, I encountered a problem : could not use 88 kHz, whereas my file was in 88 kHz 24 bits... I had to use 96 kHz to make it work... Not really optimum... :/ Thanks a lot for your answers
  4. Hello, First my device, Huawei Nova 5T. Recently I bought a USB DAC SoundBlaster G3, after my 32bit/384KHZ USB-C to jack 3.5mm cable passed away... But the new DAC supposed to play at 24bit/96khz... so... when I plug y my cellphone its locked at 16bit/48khz. What happened, if before plays perfectly with a 3$ USD cable but now with a 50$ DAC is impossible to play a better sample at 16bit/48khz? I tried all the outputs and configs, Open SL ES, Hi-Res Open SE, AudioTrack, AAudio.... Float32 Sample... and not works... (The DAC is OK, works perfectly on my PC) Pls help
  5. Hi everybody. I couldn't find any proper answer to this. I have Shanling M6 pro DAC and I am not really shure what's the proper setting of the HiRes output on Poweramp for this. Recently I have noticed some Direct HD option showing up on the HiRes settings. Any idea ? How to achieve the best (bitperfect like) setting on Poweramp ? What I am doing now : It says : variant Direct HD Output Set to HiRes and fixed 192kHz and all setting below are set to off (no EQ, no DV, No Headroom, ...) Dither : None Thanks a lot !
