  1. When I connect my device to play music via bluetooth while driving, the shuffle options (all, songs, categories) are disabled. I noticed that it only happens with playback in the car, when I use bluetooth headphones it works properly. Any idea why this happens? I have reinstalled the app and I have also explored all the settings of the "shuffle" menu.
  2. Album art is not displayed when connecting to the car via Bluetooth. My car is kia sorento hybrid 2021. Please tell me how to set it up.
  3. Skip and reverse skip taps work, but play/pause tap does not work, causing music to fade briefly (.5 sec) and continue playing. Android 13
  4. Hey Max! You said that the "Hi-Res" Output of PA bypasses the Android mixer and resampling. When I'm using the Hi-Res Output for output device: Bluetooth and manually setting up Sample Rate as per audio file rate (E.g. 44.1 kHz), the PA Resampler is getting bypassed, but the Audio Info shows that the Hi-Res Output is resampled from 44.1 kHz to 96kHz. My question is how the audio is getting resampled? Is it resampling by SOC or Android mixer?
  5. When connecting to my car via Bluetooth Album art doesn't display, the seek bar says 00:00 out of 00:00 and the tracks always say it is out of 41. Is there a setting to change to resolve this I'm on the Pixel 7 Pro My build is Build-956-bundle-play [956005-33f0b133] Full version 64 bit Regards Rosh
  6. Just got the app, I'm not that really familiar with EQ settings in general so if anybody could recommend me any good settings for a JBL bluetooth speaker (Flip 5) that would be appreciated! The phone I'm currently using is the OnePlus Nord N300. Thanks
  7. Does Poweramp completely bypass native Android audio processing with its "Hi-Res Output" when streaming via Bluetooth?
  8. Absolute Volume option is missing in Developer options... how to turn on DVC? Please help.
  9. I drive a 2015 Corolla, and with my previous android phone, I had control of Poweramp via the steering wheel, skip track, scrub, etc. However, since I switched to an S22, these controls no longer work. Is this a known issue? Is there a setting I forgot to change? I'm connected by Bluetooth. Thanks
  10. When changing the ANC mode, PA starts playing if it was not doing it or if it was not open at all. For any reason, every time I change mode it reads this: ================== 11:41:33.367 PSMediaButtonReceiver android.intent.action.MEDIA_BUTTON KEYCODE_MEDIA_PAUSE ACTION_DOWN name=Virtual source=0x0 sources=0x301 virt=true repeat=0 actionTime=112128504 sourcePak=com.android.bluetooth isAvrcp flags=0x0 playerState=2 ================== 11:41:33.390 PSMediaButtonReceiver android.intent.action.MEDIA_BUTTON KEYCODE_MEDIA_PAUSE ACTION_UP name=Virtual source=0x0 sources=0x301 virt=true repeat=0 actionTime=112128528 sourcePak=com.android.bluetooth isAvrcp flags=0x0 playerState=2 ================== 11:41:35.247 PSMediaButtonReceiver android.intent.action.MEDIA_BUTTON KEYCODE_MEDIA_PLAY ACTION_DOWN name=Virtual source=0x0 sources=0x301 virt=true repeat=0 actionTime=112130385 sourcePak=com.android.bluetooth isAvrcp flags=0x0 playerState=2 ================== 11:41:35.279 PlayerService RESUME from PSMediaButtonReceiver resumePlaying ================== 11:41:35.296 PSMediaButtonReceiver android.intent.action.MEDIA_BUTTON KEYCODE_MEDIA_PLAY ACTION_UP name=Virtual source=0x0 sources=0x301 virt=true repeat=0 actionTime=112130434 sourcePak=com.android.bluetooth isAvrcp flags=0x0 playerState=1 ================== 11:41:35.302 PlayerService RESUME from PSMediaButton Receiver IGNORED
  11. Hey guys.. I just bought a new Bluetooth headphone, and listened to some songs on Poweramp and noticed that volume on Bluetooth headphone is too low compared to Spotify app or any other music players. I tried some instructions from this like disabling absolute volume and it didn't work. I'm dissapointed right now. Any help on this would be appreciated. My device - Poco X2 (Redmi K30) Android 11 (MIUI 12.5) Thank you.
  12. Hello, I tried searching for an option to automatically assign an Equalizer preset (bass boost only, actually, but I saved two presets anyway) based on the connected Bluetooth device: this because I need bass boost with my BT headphones but I want it flat with my BT car headset. Did i miss that? Or can you consider implement that, if that isn't there? Thanks anyway for any response.
  13. Hello everybody, I got a new Android phone and wasn't happy with the volume and lack of bass when running Poweramp through my car's Bluetooth audio. I've taken the following steps to improve the issue: -Disabled Absolute Volume Control in Android dev options. - Turned off EQ in Poweramp because the preamp was set to a negative value, I may play around with EQ later. -Currently have DVC turned off and Headroom gain set to zero because the default -6 db was the main factor killing my volume (would love advice on this setting). My questions: any lovers of loud bass heavy music with other suggestions on increasing volume without losing sound quality? Will my changes stay permanent or reset after updates? Why do Poweramp and Android combine forces to shush my music (ironic given the name POWER AMP)?
  14. EDIT: Problem solved 🙌 (check out answer below) I got bluetooth headphones almost two years ago and Poweramp eight years ago, and have had no problem with using the headphones with the app before. But a couple of weeks (maybe a month) ago, it started to not work properly. The sound and everything else works great, but if I pause Poweramp using the play/pause button on the headphones, I can’t start it up again with the button. Poweramp now also disappears from the lock screen when I pause, so I then have to unlock the screen, and open up Poweramp to start again where I paused. I can pause and un-pause using the headphone button when I use my podcast app, so the problem doesn’t seem to be universal for the headphones. If I un-pause right after having paused, there’s no problem and the music starts right back up again. But even a 10 second pause is enough for me to not be able to un-pause. There is no problem if the screen is unlocked, I’ve tried pausing and waiting a full five minutes before I un-pause, and it starts right back up. I’ve tried “forgetting” the headphones and re-pairing them to the phone, I’ve tried rebooting the phone, I’ve tried un-checking the “react to buttons” headphone setting in Poweramp and re-checking it (after a reboot), but none of it has made any difference. The problem might have started when I updated the Android version on my phone, but I’m not sure. It’s the only change I have made to headphones, phone or app in a while, but it might be a coincidence since I’m not definitely sure if the problems started right when I updated Poweramp build number -- v3-build-882-arm64-play [882004-437be2ab] Device model -- OnePlus 6T Android version -- 10.3.5
