      Poweramp v3 Project Update   04/24/2017

As you may be aware, the Poweramp developer has been working hard on an updated material design user interface for Poweramp v3 which required a full ground-up rebuild of the code. It is hoped this will be ready for final beta-testing by the end of the May/early June. See forum thread for more details and to discuss.

  1. Think it's firmware based. I tried doing the same thing with the official version on my rom, same error occurs (notification buttons greyed out) and other users say it works on official release of Poweramp and Nougat without any problems. Looks like I have to upgrade my phone to make it work.
  2. I wanted to dare an upgrade to nougat to see if the problem persists, but I have to wait for files to flash it manually for my phone... As of now it doesn't work and I really hope anyone with the same phone as me can report something that works. Gonna ask it at the local zukfans forum if this problem also occurs with other music players (I uninstalled the stock one since I only use Poweramp)
  3. Dear Poweramp community: I got an annoying bug on my phone related to Poweramp. I am using a Zuk Z2 Pro (Z121) with Stock ZUI 2.3.044 ST (Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow) rom (rooted) and Poweramp Alpha Version 703. My problem: If I hit the play button via Poweramp the notification gets displayed normally in the notification bar. As soon as I hit one of the buttons in the notification bar (eg next track), it loads the new song but I suddenly can't control the music anymore because the buttons get grayed out and the song tags suddenly disappear. I added a screenshot as reference. As a car phone holder user the notification bar was pretty handy for me because I could just swipe down and change tracks, but now I can't anymore... Anyone else with this problem?
  4. Could be the problem... I'm on Concept Marshmallow Android version 6.0.1 (which is from Sony), don't know when the official marshmallow update for Xperia Z3 Compact is rolling out. Also afaik they released the official beta for the marshmallow update, didn't test it yet though because it's actually only available for some parts of EU (Germany is not part of the program unfortunately)
  5. Got the same problem with my Xperia Z3 Compact running Android 6.0.1 Concept Marshmallow, following folder path is being shown: EDIT: Tried the Alpha Build v700, same problem presists...
  6. Just did it yesterday, he already replied me with some things, but unfortunately they don't work either... Just gonna reinstall Poweramp for now and check if it works EDIT: Reinstalling doesn't work either. Could it be that saving all of my 2800 mp3 files on my extsdcard causes the problem? EDIT 2: Looks like it is the problem, I just wanted to send the crash log to MaxMP, but then found out this string: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: OutOfMemoryError thrown while trying to throw OutOfMemoryError; no stack available What does this mean to me?
  7. Poweramp 2.0.10-build 580-play (full version) Samsung Galaxy S4 Active (GT-I9295) Android 5.0.1 Super WizCyan v3 (stock-based deodexed ROM) Can only confirm this bug, I procced it by selecting one playlist, going back to the playlist selection screen, then entering an other playlist, going back to the selection screen again etc. Also happens with other selection screens like genre or artist. After the 4 or 5 steps the app just crashes or tells me that it is not responding
